Join Fitness Matters Running Group
Run with seasoned fitness professionals from Fitness Matters the personal training studio on High Ridge Rd, Stamford. These organized group runs of long and short distances will keep your blood pumping, outside of the gym. Learn correct running technique and push yourself to exceed your goals with the help of the group!

PAST EVENTS
During the month of March, participants' of our March Madness promotion made strides to lose 10% of their starting body weight in 30 days! Participants' worked one-on-one with their trainer 3x a week and were required to take four group training classes a week plus follow a food plan provided by Lisa Corrado of Lisa Corrado Nutrition. These participants' proved that determination and consistency are key factors in attaining your fitness goals!

Team Fitness Matters has put away their bike pedals until the next SpinOdyssey 2010! We want to thank all of our team members for a fantastic day of spinning and tennis for breast cancer research. Thanks to all participants and all who supported us -- Team Fitness Matters raised $2,727 and we exceeded our funraising goal of $2,500!!

The Restaurant Tour
This Fall, Fitness Matters teamed up with Lisa Corrado of Lisa Corrado Nutrition for "An Educational Adventure in Dining: The Restaurant Tour". Our series of dinners took place at four (4) local restaurants where Fitness Matters clients and others learned how to order nutritious and healthy meals from some of the best and most diverse menus in our area.
Restaurants we visited: Strada 18, Cava Restaurant and Wine Bar, Chez Jean Pierre, and Thali!
Fitness Matters "Fit By The First" Contest Results!
Our winner has just been chosen! Congratulations to Doris Gaaderese! Doris lost 15 pounds and 6% body fat in three and half months and her back pain went away!!
About the Contest: The program, which ran from 9/2/2008 to 12/19/2008, awarded the contestant who made the biggest overall health and body composition changes. The contestants worked to lose weight and body fat by the New Year, working out with a Fitness Matters trainer. Each training session will occurred three times a week for one hour.
Fitness Matters Supports Kids in Crisis
The Fitness Matters Team would like to thank all clients who renewed their training packages in December!
Fitness Matters is committed to shaping the community we live in and childhood obesity is a growing problem in Fairfield County. By renewing your training package in December, Fitness Matters was able to donate 10% of our profits to the Kids in Crisis "Recreational Activities Programs".
